About Our District
The New Kensington-Arnold School District is a suburban school district serving about 2,100 students from two cities. The communities of Arnold (Population 5,072) and New Kensington ( Population 12,660) make up an area of about 5 (4.247 New Kensington and .73 Arnold) square miles in the northern tip of Westmoreland County—approximately 18 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The population per square mile for both communities is 3,472.
