Right To Know

 

 

The Sunny Award is given to Public Entities after an evaluation performed by the Sunshine Review Committee, a non-profit public group. They annually evaluate nationally over 7,000 websites based on the amount of information contained on website in 10 categories.  The New Kensington-Arnold School DIstrict has earned the Sunny Award the past two years.  School District, Local Governments, City, County and State are evaluated across the United States.

 

Section 703 of the 2007 Open Records Law requires that a written request for access to records may be submitted in person, via e-mail , by facsimile, or, to the extent provided by agency rules,  other electronic means.  Employees of an agency shall be directed to forward requests for records to the open records officer. A written request should identify or describe the records sought with sufficient specificity to enable the agency to ascertain which records are being requested and shall include the name and address to which the agency should address its response.
