Home Education and Private Tutoring

Home Education and Private Tutoring is a schooling option for families across Pennsylvania. There are certain requirements in order to provide home education or private tutoring to your child.
  • Affidavit or Unsworn Declaration (including all accompanying documents) are due by August 1st each school year.
  • Evaluations are due by June 30th each school year for the year completed.
 
These items can be emailed to Elise Grogno, Secretary, at [email protected] or dropped off to her at the Central Administration Building which is located at 707 Stevenson Blvd., New Kensington, PA 15068. This is the large building at the end of the Valley Memorial Stadium (football field) on the campus of Valley Jr-Sr High School.

By using this form, part of your home education enrollment will be sent directly to the Student Services Secretary. You will still need to provide educational objectives and proof of immunization (or exemption) in grades ________.
