Junior Jumpstart Financial Aid Seminar - Monday, March 30th

State Representative Jill Cooper invites you to Junior Jumpstart, a financial aid seminar with PHEAA on Monday, March 30th, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Northern Westmoreland CTC, 705 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington. This financial aid seminar with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency is designed to help next year’s high school seniors begin navigating the world of college financing. Current seniors who have questions are certainly invited as well. Registration by March 25th is suggested, but not required. Contact Robin Savage at 724-387-9113 or [email protected].

NKASD Athletic Committee Meeting - Wednesday, March 18, 2026

The New Kensington-Arnold School Board will have an Athletic Committee Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington. The meeting is open to the public.

NKASD Education Committee Meeting - Wednesday, March 25, 2026

The New Kensington-Arnold School Board will have an Education Committee Meeting on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at VJSHS, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington. The meeting is open to the public.

Remote Instruction - Thursday, March 12, 2026

Due to a power outage at the high school and a district-wide internet outage, the New Kensington–Arnold School District will operate under Remote Instruction tomorrow. At this time, there is no estimated timeframe for restoration of service.Students should attend school remotely and follow their building’s Remote Instruction schedule, which is available on our website.District officials will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.Thank you for your continued flexibility and support.
