Vikings Online is the New Kensington-Arnold School District's online school being developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Key features of the program include:
  • Use of the Microsoft Teams as the classroom platform
  • Connection to NKASD classroom teachers, support teachers, and other support personnel
  • Vikings Online is the digital connection to NKASD schools for all students whether they are exclusively online or come to the school for face-to-face instruction.

PASSCODE or PASSWORD
 
A students Passcode is used to unlock Apple iOS devices (ex: iPad)
A students Password is used to authenticate to their email, Microsoft Teams, Virtual Desktop, etc.
 
Passcodes and Passwords can be the same in many instances.
 
All students of the New Kensington-Arnold School District are able to download and install the Microsoft Office Suite known as Office 365.  It includes applications like Teams, Outlook (email), Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  1. For those working on mobile devices, Tablets/phones, go to your associated App Store and download the apps.
    1. Your district email and password will license for use while enrolled.
  2. For those working on laptops and computers.  Log into your school email/office suite at https://login.microsoftonline.com
    1. Near the upper right of the window click the Install Office link. If you don't see it, click the waffle on the upper left, click Office 365, the click install office in the upper right.
    2. Your district email and password will license for use while enrolled.
