Wednesday, June 5th will be the last day of school for students. All students in Kindergarten through 11th grade, both walkers and bus riders will report to school and/or bus stops at the regular time, however, there will be an early dismissal. Please see the attached letter from Dr. Sefcheck for dismissal times.

The General Meeting of the New Kensington-Arnold School Board will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the VJSHS Board Room, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington, PA. The meeting is open to the public.

Due to technical difficulties there will not be a virtual option.

The New Kensington-Arnold School District Kennywood School Picnic will be Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Kennywood tickets are no longer available in the Administration Building.

Valley Points YMCA is offering Summer Camps June 10th - August 16th. Summer Camp provides an exciting, safe community for children
ages 5-12 (children must have completed Kindergarten) to build
self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, and make lasting

The ParentWISE Program of Wesley Family Services is presenting their Strengthening Families Program for parents and youth (age 10-14). Strengthening Families is an evidence-based parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum that prevents teen substance abuse and other behavior problems, strengthens parent/youth communication skills, increases academic success in youth and prevents violence and aggressive behavior at home and at school. Classes will be held on Thursdays, April 25th – May 23rd, 2024. Dinner is at 5:30 p.m., and class is 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wesley Family Services Pioneer, 1045 4th Avenue, New Kensington.
