HDB One School, One Book Event

Hello H.D. Berkey Families!

Join us for a school-wide reading experience at H.D. Berkey School! Together in March we will read Fenway and the Bone Thieves by Victoria J. Coe! Reading with your child has powerful benefits. It strengthens vocabulary, builds comprehension skills, and most importantly, creates meaningful time to connect. Chapter books are a wonderful way to spark conversations, laughter, and curiosity.

Your child will receive a FREE copy of this book on Tuesday, March 10. Our intention is for you to read a few chapters each week with your child at home. The classroom teachers will engage in discussions and activities pertaining to this book. There will also be opportunities for students to view/listen to school community members read these chapters during the school day. The QR code below links you to these readings and optional Microsoft Forms (Live March 10). Students who submit responses or photos will be entered into a prize drawing, and selected submissions may be shared with our school community.
